When you use Retti, we collect information you provide directly, such as your email address and account details when you sign up. We also collect usage data including pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; communicate with you about your account; and develop new features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use trusted cloud infrastructure to host our services and take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as analytics and authentication providers) that collect, monitor, and analyze usage data. These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
5. YouTube Data & Google API Usage
Retti uses the YouTube API Services to provide analytics and retention insights for connected YouTube channels. By connecting your YouTube channel, you authorize Retti to access:
Channel & Video Information (youtube.readonly): We read your video list, titles, durations, publish dates, and channel metadata to populate your Retention Dashboard and power our analysis tools.
Analytics Data (yt-analytics.readonly): We read audience retention curves, view counts, watch time, average view duration, and traffic source data to generate retention insights, track trends, and calibrate our analysis tools to your specific audience.
How we use this data:
- Display your Retention Dashboard with trends, patterns, and performance metrics
- Calibrate retention predictions in Retention Lab, Editing Lab, and Script Lab to your audience's behavior
- Generate anonymized, aggregated niche benchmarks (your individual data is never shared)
How we store this data:
- Analytics data is stored securely in our database and associated with your account
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
- You can disconnect your channel and delete all stored analytics data at any time from your account settings
How we share this data:
- We never sell or share your individual YouTube data with third parties
- We use anonymized, aggregated data across all users to build niche-level benchmarks
- These benchmarks contain no personally identifiable information
You can revoke Retti's access to your YouTube data at any time via Google Security Settings. Revoking access stops all future data access; you can also delete previously stored analytics data from your account settings at any time.
Limited Use disclosure:
Retti's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through the YouTube API Services and other Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the user-facing analytics features described above, is never sold, is never used for advertising, and is never transferred to third parties except as required to provide those features or to comply with applicable law.
Retti's use of information received from YouTube API Services also complies with the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Retti is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Retti MCP Server (Model Context Protocol)
Retti operates a public MCP server at https://retti-mcp.fly.dev/mcp that exposes Retti's YouTube-intelligence tools inside MCP-compatible clients such as Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code. Documentation is available at retti.ai/mcp. The Retti MCP only operates on public YouTube data sourced via YouTube's public APIs. It does not modify your YouTube account, videos, comments, or any other YouTube-side content, and it does not access your connected-channel OAuth data.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our service.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also delete your account through the app settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
