Every tool in Retti answers a question you bring to it, paste a link, get a breakdown. Agents flip that around: you switch one on once, and it brings the work to you. Upload a video, and the review is waiting when the retention data lands. A rival posts, and the teardown arrives without you asking. You hand over a topic at night, and a finished script is sitting there in the morning.

There are six of them, and they split into two groups. Always watching agents run themselves the moment there's work. On call agents wait for a brief, then do the whole job on their own.

Auto Video Review, the Reviewer

Publish a video and forget about it. Once its real retention data is ready (usually around three days after publish), the Reviewer runs a full retention review on its own, weighing the title, thumbnail and metrics against your channel's baseline to call why the video over- or under-performed, not just how it held. Cut Suggestions, the Cutter

The cheapest agent, and for a lot of creators the first one to switch on. It reads the retention graph of a published video, finds the dead sections dragging the curve down, and tells you exactly where to trim, down to the second, so you can make the cut in YouTube's own editor. It never cuts anything itself; it's a recommendation, and the decision stays yours. Competitor Analyser, the Analyst

Pick the channels you want to learn from. Every time one of them publishes a new long-form video, the Analyst breaks it down, the title, the thumbnail, the transcript, and explains why it worked (or didn't) and what's transferable to your own channel. Edit Draft Review, the Editor

Upload your cut to YouTube as unlisted, the private-draft trick most channels already use, and the Editor jumps on it automatically: a full frame-by-frame Edit Review covering pacing, dead air, hook strength and the exact cuts to make, before anyone sees the video. It only reviews unlisted uploads made after you switch it on, so there's no surprise spend on your back catalogue. From 6 credits per video.

Script Producer, the Producer

The first of the on-call agents. Hand it a brief, a title, a topic, references, and it runs the whole scriptwriting pipeline on its own: plans the structure, writes the draft, reviews its own work, then humanizes the read so it sounds like a person. Video Researcher, the Researcher

Give it a topic, a working title, a story or an article, and it digs through the web and YouTube, reading and grading every source, then hands back a build-ready research document: the through-line worth telling, the sections in the order to reveal them, a beat sheet, and every source it found. It's the groundwork phase of a video, done for you. 6 credits per research doc.

Workflows: chain agents into an assembly line

Any single agent does one job. Workflows connect them, each step hands its output to the next, so one input at the top comes out the other end as something you can shoot. Three templates are ready on day one:

• Topic → film-ready plan. The Researcher digs the topic, then the Planner turns it into a plan your on-camera talent can just show up and shoot.
• Topic → full script. Research a subject, then write the whole script from it.
• Beat a competitor. Break down a rival's latest upload, then plan a video built to beat it.

You can also build your own chain. The builder only ever offers steps that can legally consume what the previous step produced, so a workflow can't be wired wrong. Each step shows a credit estimate before anything runs.

What agents cost, and how you stay in control

Every agent run spends from the same place as everything else in Retti: your plan's one credit pool (Pro includes 180 credits a month, and top-up packs stack on top). On top of that, agents get their own leash, a monthly automation budget you set, anywhere from 5 to 500 credits. Agents stop when the budget is spent, and the agents page shows a live runway of how many reviews, cuts, scripts or docs the remaining budget covers.

Agents are also built to never burn credits you're not using:

• They sleep when you're away. If you haven't been around for a week or so, watchers go to sleep and stop spending. They wake automatically when you're back.
• They pause when you stop reading. If an agent's outputs keep going unopened, it pauses itself rather than keep producing work nobody looks at.
